song of the week
stardust
by : mika
I could be staring at somebody new
But stuck in my head is a picture of you
You are the thunder, I was the rain
I wanna know if I’ll see you again
I said I love you, you said goodbye
Everything changes in the blink of an eye
It’s been a while, I still carry the flame
I wanna know if I’ll see you again
See you again, see you again
Want you to know, what you mean to me
What will it take, take you to see?
I could put in a stardust in your eyes
Put a little sunshine in your life
Give me a little heart to feel the same
And I wanna know if I’ll see you again
if I’ll see you again
I’ve seen that before, cause you’re not even there
I’m writing this song and you don’t even care
Throw me a lifeline and open my door
And pick up my heart that you left on the floor
On the floor, on the floor
Want you to know, what you mean to me
What will it take, take you to see?
I could put in a stardust in your eyes
Put a little sunshine in your life
Give me a little heart to feel the same
And I wanna know if I’ll see you again
if I’ll see you again
Funny How the time goes rushing by
And all the little things we leave behind
But even any other thing i do,
is a little bit of me, a little bit of you
When will I see you again?
When will I see you again?
When will I see you again?
When will I see you again?
I could put in a stardust in your eyes
Put a little sunshine in your life
Give me a little heart to feel the same
And I wanna know if I’ll see you again
if I’ll see you again
I could put in a stardust in your eyes
Put a little sunshine in your life
Give me a little heart to feel the same
And I wanna know if I’ll see you again
if I’ll see you again
Funny How the time goes rushing by
And all the little things we leave behind
But even any other thing i do,
is a little bit of me, a little bit of you
When will I see you again?
When will I see you again?
thingsilove #1; book
i like to read books. i love how they can take me away from any state of mind, and let me live in my own little bubble, where the words flashes by and picture invade my mind.
i love how i become the characters, yet at the same time i'm watching from above. i love how every little word stays with me, and how emotions can be felt by something as little yet as big as words.
i love how i can feel the book in my hand, and how the paper feels between my fingers as i turn the pages.
i love how the language leaves marks in my heart, and how my mind consumes the language.
and finally,
i love how different it feels, because these days reading books is became a rare thing to do and that makes the moment feel somewhat special in itself.

“I think she was afraid to love sometimes. I think it scared her. She was the type to like things that are concrete, like the ocean. Something you could point to and know what it was… And I think that’s why she struggled with love. She couldn’t touch it. She couldn’t hold on to it and make sure it never changed.”

i'm such a girl now
yesterday i tried to combine some clothes to my favorite skirt.
the paper kites - a maker of my time
i really love this skirt..
at first, this skirt was a long skirt. my mother bought this from her friend then cut it into 2 pieces. 1 for me and 1 for my sister.
i could combine it with my red blouse..
the red blouse was very cheap. i bought it in my subscription store.
i also could combine the skirt with my new black blouse..
i just bought the blouse yesterday. it was very cheap too and i bought it in the same store.
looks a lil' glam, so i could wear this to the party haha.
last, i could combine the skirt with an ordinary white tees.
i forgot to combine it with the skirt :p
yesterday, my mother gave me a dress too. she bought it from her friend.
i feel so in love with it's sabrina-collar and also the color.
last from the last.., look what i found in a store!
dark brown flat shoes! it looks like ballerina shoes and i feel so cute whenever i wear this. haha
meanwhile a song for you to listen to as we get through this sunday;
the paper kites - a maker of my time

if you guys don't know MIKA, i'll share one of his song. maybe you'll like him after i shared it to you.
Grace Kelly

Grace Kelly

first mika gig
hey, so glad that yesterday i could see mika's concert in skenoo hall, gandaria city with my 'lil sister. yeah, finally! i've been waiting for him since 3 years ago.
last night, mika sang 17 songs;
[relax, take it easy. lola. billy brown. lollipop. emily. big girls (you're beautiful). celebrate. grace kelly. happy ending. origin of love. popular song. rain. stuck in the middle. love today. underwater. we are golden.]
and i just can't stop jumping, dancing, singing, and shouting his name. haha i know i'm crazy, i'm sorry with that.
until now, i still can't believe what just happened last night, what just i saw last night haha. the concert was so amazing! place, audio, lighting, mika, the band, the performance, and even the audience, were very awesome.
In the middle of a song, mika opened his jacket and tossed it behind him.
He played with his fedora hat.
He never stopped dancing.
He made contact with his band and the local choir guest.
He played the piano a lot.
He jumped to his piano several times and stood on it when he sang Rain.
He joked around with Max, his bassist.
He casually crossed his leg on top of his piano keys and posed there for a moment.
He stopped playing for a while to open a box of gift an audience threw on stage.
He asked the local choir to give him a high five, oh you guys just so damn lucky!
and here are the dialouges he said during the show;
"Jakarta.. We finally meet.. I know you've waited long.. But the only way we could meet again is in South Kensington. And that would be a bit problem since it's far away.."
"Jakarta, you can sing."
"Dum, darariraridum, darariraridum.. It's up to you.. If you want to continue listening to Max.. You will continuously hear Max's voice where ever you go.. When you go home.. At 3 o'clock in the morning.. But if you want it to stop.. Join me and jump up high on the count of three.."
"What is this?!" - commenting on a "thing" that accompanied a box of gift thrown at him on stage.
"Wawawawawawa. I don't understand what you're saying! Seriously, that's all I hear." - on the unidentified "i love you" and "i want you" and "thank you" screams of the audience. He said it with a cheeky smile. Paused occasionally. And just let everyone take there time to really stare his face on the big screen. My knees went jello all over again.
and you know, what i love about last night was sooooo many guys sang "big girls (you're beautiful)" with a cheeky smile. wish one day there's a guy sing it to me with a smile too.. xp
well, i'll miss yesterday. i will miss the day when i saw him. i will miss everything in 10 May '13. haaah it just too fast for me.
he chased by the time to perform in x-factor ID. ugh, damn you x-factor!

wonderstruck.. *lovestruck*
hi!
2 months ago, when i was in changi airport, singapore, i went to perfume shop and found taylor swift wonderstruck perfume. oh my.. i was so lucky 'cause i didn't buy anything before and still left enough money to buy this perfume.
as we know,
wonderstruck is named after the lyrics from the song "Enchanted" which tell about the feeling and the impression you get when you first meet someone you like. Taylor hopes that her fragrance will be an essential part of many impressions and first meetings.
and here are the picts..

Day 2
Day 3
Day 4
when i went back from my school trip, my headmaster asked us to make a journal about our trip. so this is mine;
Day 1
Thursday, 14th February 2013
Thursday early morning, me
and my friends went to Sokarno Hatta airport at 2.30 a.m Indonesia time. We
checked in and waited for a couple hours before we were boarding. We left Jakarta at 5.30 a.m Indonesia time and arrived Singapore at 8 a.m. Singapore time. After we were there, we did some processes in Changi Airport and we took our suitcase to the bus.
After that, we went
to Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia Singapore (KBRI) by bus. Me and my groups were in bus 2 with 2 or 3 other
groups. When we arrived there, we met Mr. Alam and Mrs. Prayati who told us about Singapore sector, Singapore laws, and cooperation between Indonesia and
Singapore. We learned so much things in
there. After we
heard the explanation about Singapore from them, we took a picture in front of
KBRI building and had a lunch.
Our
next destination was SIS (Sekolah Indonesia Singapura). In SIS, we met a lot of Indonesian students who
studied in Singapore.
First event was
performance of saman dance from our school, followed by choir from SIS, and
traditional dance from SIS. After that, some of us and some of SIS students
followed the football and badminton matches. Our school lost in badminton, but we won in football. Both of that
matches were very exciting!
From SIS, around 5 p.m. Singapore time we went to Bunc Hostel. Bunc Hostel was the
place where we stayed. The place was small, but very comfortable. I like to stayed
there because I had roommates like Chenny, Yuki, Laureen, Alisa, Monic, and
Ericka.
We spent our first
night by played Bingo in lobby. I
played it with Yuki, Chenny, Aldy, Bagas, Made, and Dinda. We only played it
until 10 p.m. Singapore time because we had to go to our own room. When we were in our room, we did not sleep. My
friend Yuki, bought a caney bread from the restaurant near the hostel. So, me
and my rommates ate a caney bread together and talked about everything, while
some of us prepared their uniform for the next
day before we sleep.
Day 2
Friday, 15th February 2013
On
a second day, i woke up around 5 a.m. Singapore time. I took a bath
quickly and had a breakfast in lobby. After had a breakfast, some of us took a
pictures in front of the hostel.
Around 7.30 a.m. Singapore time, we went to SMU (Singapore Management
University). I still do not understand why we went there because we did not do anything except took a
picture. However, I still impressed with the pictures
that painted on the SMU poles. After 15 or 20 minutes i took a pictures with my
friends, i went to the snack stand to bought cheesy tofu. The taste of cheesy
tofu was very delicious and i bought it 3 times.
From
SMU, we went to NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts). NAFA is an art college
which has 8 departments; 3D Design, Arts
Management and Education, Design and Media, Fine Art, Fashion Studies, Dance,
Music and Theatre. NAFA has a large building. It has a large library too. I bet
the students of NAFA like to spend their time in the library, because it looks
very comfortable
and it has more than 10 computers.
After looked
around at NAFA, we had a lunch and went to Yio Chu Kang Secondary Scool. Yio Chu Kang is an art school. The building, canteen, and
the field are very large. In YCKSS we looked around
the school accompanied by 2 of YCKSS students (I
forget their names), made our own soap, and watched
performances of Saman dance from our school, Indian and Paty dance from YCKSS. YCKSS
students were very kind and friendly. We took a picture together and
exchanged the gifts.
Around 6 p.m
Singapore time, we went back to Bunc Hostel. We had a little rest, took a bath, had a dinner, and then we went to Mustafa Centre
to shopped. In
Mustafa Centre, i bought a glass and a chocolate stick for my little sister. From Mustafa we went to Caney Bread restaurant near our Hostel. Then, we back to our Hostel and played Bingo again. We played it until
11.30 p.m. Singapore time. Before we sleep, we packed
our suitcase
and our luggage because at the third day we had to
move to another Hotel.
Day 3
Saturday, 16th February 2013
On
the third day, we woke up earlier because we had to move to another hotel. We left
Bunc Hostel and moved to 81 Dickson Hotel. After we put our luggage in 81
Dickson, we went to Universal Studio Singapore. We arrived there at 11 a.m
Singapore time and it was the first time i went there. For an hour, we played games
like Transformers The Ride Ultimate 3D Battle, and Battlestar Galactica Human
vs Cylon. At 12 p.m Singapore time we had to out from Universal for lunch.
After
had a lunch, we played at Madagascar a Crate Adventure, Canopy Flyer, Jurassic
Park Rapids Adventure, Revenge of the Mummy, and watched 4D movie at Shrek 4D
Adventure. We also took a pictures at some places. My favorite game was
Battlestar Galactica Human vs Cylon and Revenge of the Mummy so far because i
could scream out loud until i almost lost my voice when i was played the games.
Seriously, i was so excited! Before i went out from Universal Studio, i bought
some merchandises like a comb, a cap, and displays for my family.
Around
5 p.m. Singapore time, we waited for our bus before we went back to our hotel.
At hotel, the teachers asked us to choosed our roomates, so i choosed Chenny as
my roommates. When we got our room key, we went to our room and i took a bath
while Chenny took a rest. After took a bath and had a dinner, we went to Bugis
Street to shopped again. I was sick at that time, so i just walked around at
there and did not buy anything. I did not really like to shopped at Bugis
Street because most of the sellers were very unkind and rude.
I
went back to hotel with Chenny, Alisa, Niko, Indah, Tira, Vincent, Bryan, Adit,
Bagas, and Aldy. When we arrived at hotel, me and Chenny went to our room and packed
our suitcase because we had to leave Singapore and back to Jakarta at the next
day. After packed our suitcase, me and Chenny did not really sleep. We talked
and talked and talked until 1 a.m Singapore time and suddenly felt asleep.
Day 4
Sunday,
17th February 2013
That
was the last day we stayed in Singapore. i woke up at 6.30 a.m Singapore time and
took a bath. After took a bath i had a breakfast in my room with Alisa, Monic,
and Chenny. Then, we prepared our suitcase and luggage because we would check
out at 9 a.m.
From
hotel, we went to Merlion Park to saw a big lion statue, Marina Bay, and a big
carousel. After we took a ton of photos in Merlion Park, we headed to Science Centre
Singapore. In Science Centre, we could find some interesting exhibitions about
science and technology. At 12.30 p.m Singapore time, we continued our trip to
Orchard road. When we arrived at Orchard road we went to Lucky Plaza. Oh my
God, i felt like i could not breath. That place was full of people. Because of
that, i lost my passion to buy a souvenir.
After
we walked around Lucky Plaza, i felt so hungry. So, i bought a premium lamb
kebab in kebab stand near Lucky Plaza. The taste of kebab was very delicious
and made me want some more. At 5 p.m we went to Changi airport. We had an early
dinner and did some processes like passport and suitcase controled. After that,
the teachers told us that we could buy a souvenir before we entered the plane.
So, i went to perfume shop and bought a bottle of Taylor Swift Wonderstruck
perfume for myself.
Our
plane was delay, so we left Singapore at 8.55 p.m. Sigapore time. I was very
tired at that time. In the plane, i just stared at my friends and felt asleep.
Around
11.30 p.m Indonesia time, we arrived at Soekarno Hatta airport. We did some
processes like usual and took our suitcase. After i took my suitcase, i said
goodbye to my friends and my teacher and then i went home. I could not believe
that my beautiful trip with generation
20 of Budi Luhur Senior High School was over.
yay that's all!
haha what do you think? i think i miss that 4-days trip!!
ok i gotta go,
bye <3
ps: sorry for my grammar :p
